About Us
For the past 7 years Kirsten Transcribes has been working with businesses and individuals to help create customised archives to share with their families and loved ones.
Kirsten was raised in Western Massachusetts, and made the move to Maine with her husband and children 7 years ago, (now 13, 6 and 2).
Kirsten Transcribes began when Kirsten began transcribing taped interviews for her mother, Kitty Axelson-Berry. Kitty is the owner of Modern Memoirs, www.modernmemoirs.com. In 1994 she founded the Association of Personal Historians, www.personalhistorians.org.
Kirsten enjoys spending time with her family, sailing on their Friendship Sloop, as well as being actively involved in Station Maine www.stationmaine.org in Rockland.
